window washers

now we start off the morning with window washers rapelling down the side of the building. for some reason i am more easily annoyed today. perhaps too much caffeine yesterday, maybe not enough sleep, perhaps i am in need of a brief vacation. or maybe just a cube with a view.

full moon tuesday

full moon tuesday. workers are replacing dead flourescents above me so the lights are off around my office. sun streams through the big glass windows, defeating the purpose of the tint. and i had chinese for lunch. if ever i needed a good old kindergarten nap, it is now.

wearing jeans to work

there is something oddly empowering about wearing jeans to work when you ought to wear khakis. at least i think so.

no fines, no fees

traffic court turned out well actually. no fines, no fees, no nothing. and i learned today that the church i grew up in now has a website. not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.

bask in the glory

today i get to go bask in the glory of our judicial system. or maybe i am giving a visit to traffic court more spark than it deserves. either way, by 2pm i will know if i have to pay fulton county $75 or not.

up until 3am

house of leaves kept me up until 3am last night, no sound in the living room apart from the hum of the PC and the settling folds of a plastic grocery bag on the coffee table.

today i bought a used CD, Poe’s Hello from 1995. i got home, put it on ("La la la di da da"), then looked to find out if she had done anything since. UBL gave me a lot of dead links, but one mentioned a novel written by her brother, which led me to Amazon.

one year anniversary
