I think what is so awesome is I don’t need captions. Except for that one station that I asked about..Anyhow.. I publically thank you and ask your permission to steal a picture for a post? PLEASE..

Oh, okay. You actually saw Suzanne Vega in *concert.* I guess my jealous tendencies were just looking for an excuse to swing into action last week, when I assumed you had spotted her on the sidewalk.

At any rate, Thomas, we had a lovely conversation while you were gone all about celebrity sightings.

    I’ll stop being jealous now.

My mother reminded me today that I also saw Chuck Berry in an airport when I was about 10 years old…. What is it with me seeing famous black people in airports???

Oh, speaking of spotting celebrities in the airport. No, I did not spot any celebrities, but my brother did. It was about 8 years ago and he was flying from L.A. to Seoul. Who did he run into but THE SCORPIONS? You know, dreadful trash-rock band from the 80′s?

What was particularly funny about the situation was that The Scorpions were fully glammed up, with all the leather and the big hair and everything. But really, it was just a sleepy Tuesday morning in L.A…. No screaming fans were thronging for autographs. They just got lots of weird looks, and mothers hid small children from their view.

Boy, it cracks me up to think about that.

When you called and described it to me, my imagination could not conceive of such a thing. Now, I have seen the photographic evidence. SPIDEY RULES!!!!!! I love you…you magnificent bastard!
