the problem with musicals

they’re just not realistic. they’ve outlived their era. this is the new millennium, baby, and it is time to turn off the showtunes and turn on the reality television. i mean, nobody actually ever breaks into song in public anymore, do they?

This is the greatest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Yes, people break out into song in public all the time…just not with backgroud tracks and a duetist.

I often randomly break out into song. Duane and I had a whole opera going to wal-mart the other night. LOL!

It wasn’t actually in public, but it was on an unrestricted radio channel. I was helping a friend move to VA and just got so bored that I began singing Dan Fogelberg (paraphrased, to fit the hills and valleys of northern Virginia). And if anyone’s ever heard me sing before, they know that I shouldn’t. And I especially shouldn’t sing the great Dan. But I made up for it by following it up with some Uncle Kracker.
