Deer Meets Headlights

I post this with little or no comment. Just click and watch the video from last December.

“There’s time for politics. And, you know — there’s time for politics. And I — it’s an absurd insinuation.”*

I thought he only took pre-screened questions to avoid looking like some dolt that your peers elected president.

The PuppetMasters can only do so much with what they have to work with. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck . . .

Bush does that all the time.. He did it just the other night when discussing in an Interview WMD..he has to know he is totally fucked by now.

Look at his eyes, look at his stance. It’s very defensive. He’s looking at the floor when he mumbles that it’s an absurd insinuation. This is very fishy…

I disagree that Bush knows he’s fucked. On the contrary, I believe that he and his team are quite confident of winning. Karl Rove is the master of plate spinning, and he’s now got all of our attention on gay marriage. 9/11 Commission’s report postponed indefinitely — they are protecting national security (and frankly, no one seems to really care anymore). Bush’s National Guard Service — hey, ask questions and you are attacking the National Guard of a country at war. Weapons of Mass Destruction? Well, Papa George is doing what he thought was best for the country. That’s his job, and we still might find ‘em, don’t you worry.

I dislike Bush immensely. However, he’s got a team that is very gifted at selling fear. And if the rumors are true, and Rudy Giuliani comes on board as V.P., I do believe that Bush may be unbeatable. All of his problems can be placed squarely on Cheney’s back as the door hits him on the ass, and you’d be hard pressed to find folks who don’t see Rudy as a national treasure at this point.

Just my $0.02. I think the mud slinging is only about to begin. And Bush’s response to these questions — the whole being taken aback — well, some folks will see that as his feelings being hurt by such allegations, not that he’s just lost for an answer. There is a very large portion of America thinks that Bush is a smart man who understands their problems and speaks their language.

And that being said, God help us all.

    Goodbye Grey
Bye bye grey blog. It was nice for a change but now it’s back to green. I’d say that the protest was overall a smashing success, however the fallout has yet to be fully digested. We’ll see if anything positive…
