Needs More Neko

There should’ve been a Neko Case song on at least one of the Kill Bill soundtracks. Really.

Yes, I’ve been slack. I’m behind. But I’ve been busy legitimately. And there are a couple of rounds in the chamber already. One movie review should be done this evening and another tomorrow or the next day, then I’ll give some critical attention to the new Roots album.

Thank Heaven for listening to music at work. Mornings go much better with Big Daddy Kane rapping out of your iPod. “It’s ’88 … time to set it straight.”

    Give some critical attention to the new Beastie Boys CD as well. It is sooooo good…especially if you like their older stuff. Smart, funny, and innovative– just what you’d expect from the Beasties. Take a listen.
