This is really worth watching: Theremin: An Electronic Odyssey
The best part is in the end of the movie, where Clara Rockmore and Leon Theremin walk around New York together, separated by so many years of distance. You can hear a little street noise, but the predominant sound is one of Clara’s symponic works. It’s very very beautiful and made me cry. (N.B. Most things make me cry.) It’s such a shame to have lost Clara Rockmore and her gifted artistry.
If you do watch this, be sure to mute it when Todd Rundgren appears – he’s an ass.
