Looking at your statistics varies by host.
For me and other folks on Dreamhost, it is just a matter of directing a browser toward http://www.domainname.com/stats … answer the prompts for username and password … then there you go, all kinds of information about who is visiting and how they got there.
Google Analytics is also really good for this stuff.
Oooh, I just installed some plugin for WordPress and now it’s giving me all sorts of data about my posts and site hits, etc.
