		<description>I don&#039;t know that the outpouring of grief is phony from a lot of people, so much as people had disassociated weirdo late-life pederast Michael with the totally rad Michael from their childhoods. And someone&#039;s death does tend to make people consider an entire person, rather than just the newest iteration of their persona. I know I went back and listened to songs and watched videos I hadn&#039;t thought about in years.

Thriller was the first LP I owned. It came out when I had just turned five, and my parents bought me a junky little record player to listen to it on. I&#039;m not sure I ever even asked for another record after that before I moved on to tapes. I could recite the entire Vincent Price part from memory, and apparently did so often.</description>
