Good Day!

Have to go through my rhinoplasty this week and i was looking for resources on rhinoplasty surgeryI came across this very useful website it has been very helpful for me to get as much information as possible on the surgery.

The website has live videos of surgeries and interviews of people who have gone through the surgery so I though it might be useful for any member here looking for the same information. Please see my signature for the link.

Regards,
Greammeve

Hi. First off, really good post and best of luck to you.
Now if I may I will open my big mouth and share my two cents ....
Sinus infections (especially chronic ones) are no fun at all and can definitely lead to other issues (not to mention pretty much take over your life).
Dealing w/ chronic sinusitis is another story. Sinus surgery has long been the only option when all else fails. However there are now some other ways to turn. Balloon sinuplasty is gaining traction – lots of info out there.
Anyway. Knowledge is power – do your homework and talk to your doctor. Find the solution that fits your condition best.
Take care.

I hope that it works out well for you! I recently watched a show on Rogers On Demand about sinus surgery, and as you say, all the people they interviewed said that their lives were improved radically because of the surgery. I've considered getting it checked out myself, because while I don't have the infection issues that you have, my breathing has never been great and when I was young, a doctor commented that I could have it corrected with surgery but they didn't want to do so until after I stopped growing.

I also have a deviated septum, probably from taking a couple of baseballs in the face in high school.

I don't get regular sinus infections, though I had a pretty nasty one last month. I'll be interested to hear how it goes for you in case I ever develop a similar problem.
